Track Announcers

George Woodill

“The Voice Of Daytona” is simply one of the best in the business.  His passion for the game is on par with any announcer out there and his calls are always spot on.  He announced all of the Daytona 550 Championships and instantly became a legend with his Huuussskkkkkkkkkerrrrrrr Magggiccccc race calls.

“The best thing about announcing is always having the best seat in the house, tied with everybody knowing who you are and wanting to talk about the racing.”

Tony Woods is the backup announcer, who hails originally from Connecticut. Both guys have a history with calling Jai Alai, as well as the greyhounds.
